A day of rest
So, I took yesterday off from work because it was jiggliusceasar's birthday - which was doubly good because of Ruddigore. I spent far more time asleep than I ought and I played Karaoke Revolution (a gift he received from georgy et al) I am bad at it, but that is as much because I have a tendency to wander all over the planet for my starting pitch and then decide part way through that it is too high or too low.

We had lunch together at the Joshua Tree, a place I didn't frequent much before the smoking ban. I am much more likely to go in the future. We split a fried ice cream dessert, because I thought it sounded interesting, and I took half of my lunch home, which I will have today. I gave him his present, which was a very good thing, and we did some laundry.

All in all, it was a good day of mild relaxation and activity. Too bad I won't have more days like them (well, until Sunday, when I am done with Ruddigore and will sleep all day long).

And I ate a new large land animal.

Although I'm starting to think that all large land animals taste the same.

You have obviously never had elk. It doesn't taste a thing like chicken. ;)

Chicken is not a large land animal. Cow is. So are ostrich, buffalo and anything with antlers.

It depends on the chicken. They grown things real big out west...

Ah, Zelda chickens! I don't know what they taste like.

(In the Legend of Zelda games, there are chickens in towns the same size as the hero that, if attacked enough, summon a swarm of friends to peck you to death.)

Or the Viscious Chicken of Bristol, which Sir Robin nearly defeated.

To clarify, Rick bequeathed the Karaoke goodness. I gave him the ceramic monkeys and the evil duck. :-)

You'll be happy to know that I finally figured out a default setting for Casimir until you have more time. Incomplete but playable, and I promise to not mention it again until you do. I'm really sorry about the nagging.
