Life is full of (liquid) crack
Last night I sat around drinking crack (Code Red) and watching crack (Excel Saga).

Amusing. There isn't really a plot to speak of (not in the first five eps), and the characterization is pretty far fetched at times, but it still manages to be fun (in a sugary mind-blowing kind of way).

So, I took this little test that C-kun found on the web: "What Excel Saga character are you?"

and I am...

Woah is me.

Feeling like: perky
Listening to: forbidden lover - laruku (repeat)

Let me guess...
You answered "...LUNCH TIME!" on Question 3. :)

I adore Excel Saga. It's utterly insane, and it sure isn't for everyone. But I have a soft spot for brutally aggressive parody, and Excel Saga has that in spades. (And clubs, and diamonds, and...) And the closing credits kick ass. :)

BTW, If you haven't been watching the closing credits all the way through, you're depriving yourself. Ditto if you haven't watched each episode at least once with the ADVid-Notes (or, as a friend likes to call them, "Pop-Up Menchi") turned on. :)

Oh, and...

I wonder if they have me and my evil twin mixed up. ;)

(Maybe I should cosplay as Ilpalazzo. I've got the hair for it. :)

Nope. I am pretty sure it was the up bouncing around cheerfully at 5:30 that did me in.

I've seen the ending credits through once or twice, and they are hilarious!

We didn't watch with the pop up Menchi, so I will ask him to bring it by tomorrow (he is using a PS2 as a DVD player, so who knows if it would understand it) so we can experience the pain, I mean, joy.

ADV's been having fun with the text in the end credits... they stick a few different oddball things into each one.

It should have no problem with them -- the Pop-Up Menchi[tm] are implemented as a special subtitle track. :)
