Running  
I want to run. Miles, hours, days.

I used to run when I was in high school. Not well, but consistently. I would do 10 miles and run the long races (usually 1 mile) for track. But I didn't get into it until I was in ROTC. There I needed to run, and run well enough to pass. I wasn't the worst runner, and I never hoped to be the best, but I would run often. I would run with Scoit and Speedy around the lake and run around the indoor track.

When I started going to a gym on my own, I would run (and often walk) on the treadmill. I did step aerobics and biking and kept my legs working.

And now I find I really miss it. The motion and the wind and the time to think. And well, runner's high is very enjoyable.

I should see if any of the local tracks are clear enough to run on... no slips and falls for me.
