OK. Comcast site indicates that if your account is deactivated for non-payment that they will shut the account down and hold the user information for 90 days. After that they will delete the accounts and release the usernames.

They deleted my email accounts wholesale the day my service was shut off.


I am on hold with someone with hopefully more f*cking clue than before, but I am not holding my breath. And I will start the search for a more reliable provider momentarily.

This no longer makes me want to cry, but makes me want to do a "Hulk, smash!" all on my lonesome. What part of this makes sense from a customer service standpoint?
