You know you wanna go! See what the MBTA wants to do in the next 5 years that will make our commutes more exciting.

Date / Time Location Directions

6:00-7:30pm Braintree Town Hall-Auditorium, One JFK Memorial Dr., Braintree, MA 02184 Red Line or Middleborough/ Lakeville Commuter Rail Line from South Station to Braintree. Exit the station to your left and walk to Union Street, turn left under the rail crossing to Washington Street. Town Hall is off Washington Street.

6:00-7:30pm Lowell Regional Transit Authority-Community Room, 100 Hale St., Lowell, MA 01851 Lowell Commuter Rail Line to Lowell. Exit the station to your left and turn right on to Thorndike St. Take another right on to Hale Street. Walk approximately 1/4 mile to the LRTA Operations Center on the left. Enter property at 3rd gate.

6:00-7:30pm Mansfield Public Library, 255 Hope St., Mansfield, MA 02048 Attleboro/Stoughton Commuter Rail Line from South Station to Mansfield. Exit the station to your left on to Chauncy St. Turn right on to Hope Street. The library is on the left.

6:00-7:30pm Worcester Public Library, 3 Salem Square, Worcester, MA 01608 Framingham/Worcester Commuter Rail Line from South Station to Worcester. Exit the station to your left, keep walking to the left, turn right on to Myrtle Street.

6:00-7:30pm Newton City Hall-War Memorial Auditorium, 1000 Commonwealth Ave., Newton Centre, MA 02459 Green Line "D" trains to Newton Center. Exit the station toward Beacon St.Turn right on to Walnut St and then left on to Commonwealth Ave.

6:00-7:30pm Vietnamese American Community Center, 42 Charles St., Dorchester, MA 02122 Red Line to Fields Corner, exit the station towards Dorchester Ave., and take a left on Charles St.

5:30-7:00pm State Transportation Building, Ten Park Plaza, Boston MA 02116 Green Line or Silver Line to Boylston Station, Orange Line to New England Medical Center, or Bus 43 or 500

Ooo. Thanks for sharing. I hate the MBTA with a violent passion, and would love to see what new sucky things they are going to be doing to their faithful constituents. BUT. The lobby of the Transportation Building is a good place for my Christmas carolling initiative!

At the moment, the answer is "failing to fund the Green Line extension", for which they should be roundly lambasted until they change their minds...
