Life Before Gaming Weekend

Life is going well here. I am still at Berklee (duh, it isn't the 20th yet), and it's pretty slow this morning. We don't expect the students to get up before 11:00 a.m. or so.

So, I am waiting until 4:00 p.m., when I will rush home and see about packing my gaming stuff (in case I can be in a little tabletop thing this time) and some cards to play a game of hand and foot or something like. Anyone want some Canasta Time?

Other than that, it will hopefully be a few blissful hours of German board games before I run back to Boston to play my sober little monk.

(But Sunday is free, woohoo!)

Life is good and I will get paid on Tuesday!

Body of Sugary Caffeine Water

I am still learning how to do this lunch thing. It is three-ish, and I am nursing a Code Red (umm, not literally), and having some rail mix while people are coming in. I spend about 10 seconds eating every 20 minutes or so.

I wonder if I will eat tonight.

Shawna needs food badly (like Key needs friends and prozac).

But I don't need prozac.

It's a good thing that I have so much soda (read sugar) in my system. It is keeping me calm through a day of needy people.

Blah. Maybe I don't have enough sugar. I wonder if I have enough change for a Snickers bar from the vending machine.
