Monday afternoon

Life is going well today. This week should be even better. It is the week of the office holiday party, which my boss has said I can come in at noon for (instead of getting in at my normal time and going home at 1:00 or 2:00 only to come back in for 4:00 p.m.). Our office is moving, my filing bins are mostly empty, and I will be done with my parts of the move tomorrow around 1:00 p.m.

My cross-stitch rotation is going well, and my writing for a potential writing assignment is going... To be more accurate, I have my first draft mostly complete. I need to double check the focus of the short essay. One topic. Only one topic. 600-1000 words shouldn't be split up too much. And then I have to write a short piece on my history (healthwise) and get two face shot pictures and two full body shot pictures of me for Friday. Then the piece can be emailed to the editorial review team.

Yeah! And if I am lucky and my writing doesn't suck too much and it fits the theme of the magazine well enough, then I might have a writing assignment for an entire year!

Wish me luck, folks. I will probably need every bit I can get.

Other than that, I am still thinking about the Christmas "shtuff." I finished my present for my mom, and will probably get presents for everybody else sometime in early to mid-January (I haven't forgotten you. It's just slow this year.).

You'd almost think I have been productive.
