Whittling Waists
Well, I am going to do it.

I am going to try and lose weight for cosplay (and health) purposes.

The stated goal is 80 pounds (yes, that would put me at a not-so healthy 120 lbs), but I don't anticipate getting down that far.

How else will I be able to do dress like Suu?

The things I do for my hobbies.

So, what I am looking for is someone to go walking or running with me once or twice a week (either after work or on the weekends in the morning). Any takers?

In this month's Metro Sports Boston, there is an article that mentions Mohawk Trail (somewhere on Route 2?) and Mid-State (a 92-mile trail from New Hampshire to Rhode Island). It would be cool to walk a portion of those at some point. Just a little long to start...

Let me know when would be good for you, and I will just take the bus to Waltham and do trail walking in Waltham.

I really need to get in better shape myself, so sure, I could do a walk once or twice a week. Weekdays after work or weekend mornings sounds good. I think I need to build up some endurance before going running, though. (I wasn't a great long-distance runner even when I was in shape. Damn wimpy respiratory system.)

I want to see how Karate shapes up - the long walk to and from work hauling a duffle bag took its toll on me, so if it looks like Karate's not going to pan out, then yeah, I'd love to go walking with you.
