It is a blissful afternoon. The room is warm enough and I am not feeling grouchy or annoyed, and I am even being productive at home by attacking my laundry monster.

My room, for those who know me well, is usually filthy. It takes a gargantuan effort to wade through the piles to get to my bed. Or at least a decent dexterity in order to navigate the path from door to bed to closets.

But for the past three months (or since early to mid-October), my room has been clean. That doesn't mean it is spotless, but on the whole there is a small pile of books near the bed (that I am presumably reading) and the laundry in the laundry basket at the base of the bed, and the rest of the floor is open.

The cleanliness of my bedroom aside, this newfound neatness (which can be blamed at least in part on C-kun) has not readily spread to my other areas, such as my cross-stitch corner or my desk. My cross-stitch area fluctuates wildly between clean and atrocious (currently it is hovering around atrocious). And well, my desk stays firmly planted at atrocious.

Well, I am hoping to change one of those this afternoon (well, at this point more like evening).

I have pushed almost everything off of my desk, so the random papers of the past month or two are on the floor, waiting for me to pull my trash can over and the filing box and organize.

Here's to seeing another corner of the apartment soon!
